Yellowstone inspires many things in many people.... for the artist it offers never-ending vistas and wildlife. For the naturalist it offers endless opportunities to experience nature at its grandest.
I am extraordinarily blessed to live only a day's drive away. I was able to spend a couple days exploring parts of YNP in 2012 - absorbing the peace of a wild and almost untouched country.
Although busy with tourists from around the world, Yellowstone still exudes peace and beauty everywhere you may look. The wildlife wander the fields and roads, knowing that this is their park, and we are but visitors for a moment, hoping and wishing to catch them as they go about their everyday lives.
